Kong Deling, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, Director of Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education. From 1985 to 1998, he completed his undergraduate, master and doctoral studies in Department of Chemistry and Institute of Molecular Biology of Nankai University. He did postdoctoral research at the University of Rostock in Germany from 1998 to 2000 and at Harvard University in the United States from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, he returned to China and was appointed as a distinguished professor of Nankai University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society of Blood Purification, the Chinese Society of Materials, the Biomaterials Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and the Chinese Biomaterials Committee. He was selected into the New Century Hundred Million Talents Project, won the second prize of Tianjin Natural Science, Tianjin Youth Science and Technology Award. He has published more than 60 SCI indexed papers and been cited by others more than 1500 times. We have obtained 10 authorized invention patents.
